Gender Pronouns: she, her, hers
Chanelle began with Food Matters as a summer Inner-City Work-Study Student Intern and she assisted in expanding the Where to Buy Guide for Newcomers and facilitating programs. As she nears the completion of her Urban and Inner-City Studies Bachelor Program, Chanelle has discovered her personal, professional, and political passion at the intersection of food and culture: Metis Food Sovereignty in an Urban Setting. Another passion of hers is to gather her chosen family for experiments in the kitchen followed by a shared meal, and always offering the last bite. She is excited to witness the ways in which her love for culture, food, and community evolve while at Food Matters Manitoba.
