Voting with Food in Mind

Before federal elections, Food Secure Canada runs their Eat Think Vote Campaign with the goal of bringing together community members across Canada to chat with their federal candidates about food insecurity and other food issues that matter to them.

Eat Think Vote makes it easy to stay inform and get involved – you or your organization can host or participate in one of the dozens of events in order to make food an election issue.

Before provincial elections, the Social Planning Council of Winnipeg partners with other community serving organizations to create voting guides and information sheets about social justice issues.

This downloadable PDF is the food security info sheet created for the 2019 provincial election in collaboration with Harvest Manitoba and FMM.
